Chili Peppers

28 oz. frozen mild green chili/defrosted and diced

(The Authentic New Mexican Mild chopped green chili or Bueno Mild chopped green chili)

27 oz. can mild whole green chilies (drained, rinsed, de-seeded, diced and divided in half)

1 cup Anaheim peppers seeded and diced
-
3 Serrano peppers seeded and diced
-
1 cup jalapeno peppers seeded and diced
Produce
-
1 cup white onion chopped
-
1/4 cup fresh cilantro stems diced fine
-
6 garlic cloves pressed or diced fine
Liquids
-
·8 oz. can chicken broth
-
6 oz. salsa verde
-
2 tsp. chicken bouillon base
-
15 oz. mild green enchilada sauce
Protein

2 1/2 lbs. pork tenderloin cut into 1/2-inch chunks

Oil to sauté meat and vegetables
Instructions:
-
Cooking time: 2 ½ hours to 3 hours (Make sure to stir pot every 10-15 minutes)

Brown meat in 1 tsp. oil and season with 1 tsp. salt. Once meat is browned, drain and discard liquid any. Set meat aside

At start add 15 oz. mild green enchilada sauce, 14 oz. mild frozen/defrosted diced peppers, 8 oz. chicken broth, and 2 tsp chicken bouillon to stock pot on medium to low simmer

45 minutes add browned meat to pot and 3 Tbs. All Things Chili Homestyle Verde Powder

1hr. 30 min. into cook time add diced onion, garlic, 14 oz diced mild whole green chilies and 3 Tbs. All Things Chili Homestyle Verde Powder to pot and stir over simmer.

2 hours into cook time add sautéed peppers and 3 Tbs. All Things Chili Homestyle Verde Powder to pot and stir.

2 hours 30 minutes into cook time add diced cilantro to pot

Cook additional 15 minutes, add salt and 1 tsp. All Things Chili Homestyle Verde powder to taste.
